Internet TV Show About Party Princesses Launches New Indiegogo Campaign
After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, a new series is now raising additional funds to help it gain momentum and become an Internet sensation.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) May 21, 2013 - After crowd-funding production costs on Kickstarter, writing, producing and shooting "Crowned", Josh Bednarsky, an independent producer and actor, is preparing to launch his new web series this coming August. With big plans for promotion, a PR campaign and even a pitch to some prime time networks, Bednarsky and his wife Brianne are back to crowd-funding, this time for marketing funds and on Indiegogo.
In a video on the project's Indiegogo page, potential supporters get a sneak peek into the show's original style and comedic rhythm. Bednarsky and Sanborn are offering funny stickers, posters, DVDs, mugs, shirts, IMDB credits and even Princess Parties as rewards for those who contribute to their project.
Inspired by Sanborn's real life experience, "Crowned," tells the story of Macey Edwards, a soon-to-be-evicted failing actress in Hollywood and her best friend and veteran party princess, Vianka Butterfield. Macey desperately takes a job as a party princess and has no idea what she's in for.
"Being a party princess is both fun and challenging," states Sanborn on her personal experience in the Party Princess world. "I worked at Disneyland for 3 years as face characters so when we were writing Crowned, we knew what the Princess thing is about from the inside," says Sanborn.
The multi-million dollar birthday party industry in high-wealth areas such as Los Angeles, New York and Dallas can generate thousands of dollars on one party alone, hiring party princesses to star as the main event and making appearances as princesses and fairytale characters to entertain the children.
Crowned is executive-produced by the married couple, Josh Bednarsky and Brianne Sanborn, under I Found Kitty Productions in association with Usher Morgan and Digital Magic Entertainment. The series also stars comedian Drew Droege (Amy Poehler's Freak Dance, 'Chloe Sevigny' online videos) rising star Megan Heyn (Browsers, Freak Dance) and Veronica Mannion.
The show will launch on August 15th, 2013. Fans can subscribe online on www.youtube.com/crownedseries
