Internet And Mobile Marketers Convene For "The Digital Ripple"
Mobilemo Inc. joins the "Digital Ripple" to promote Mobile Marketing to the Philippine marketing industry.
- (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2010 - Philippines - Digital Marketing experts from all over the world flocked the SMX Convention Center last August 19 and 20, 2010 for the 4th Internet and Mobile Marketing Summit. This year's theme is "The Digital Ripple: Turn Your Consumers into Brand Advocates, Engage One, Engage Many". Among the speakers were; Jeremiah Owyang (Web and Digital Marketing Strategist Altimeter Group), Nick Seckold (Head of Search Mindshare), Amanda King (President and Managing Partner Tribal DDB Asia & Pacific), Ken Mandel (Regional Vice-President Yahoo! SEA), Anand Tilak (Head of CPG Google SEA) and Maria Ressa (Senior Vice President News and Current Affairs ABS-CBN).
During the event, local and International Marketers talked about forecasts and trends shaping the web and mobile industry. Digital Marketing and Digital Media experts answered questions on choosing the right solutions for businesses from search, social media, mobile web, blog marketing and word-of-mouth. The two-day summit was organized by the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) and partnered by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). The Boomerang Awards, a competition for outstanding mobile and internet marketing campaigns, concluded the first day of the summit.
Alongside the the convention, an exhibit was also held to showcase businesses involved in the development and use of internet and mobile marketing. Mobilemo Inc. joined the exhibit to promote Mobilemo, a mobile website creation platform, and Umome, a file-sharing site designed for mobile.
