International Reggae Star 'Papa San' Lends His Voice In Support of Sonshine Family Ministries while on His New Album Release Tour
International Gospel-reggae Superstar Papa San while on tour to promote his new album "My Story Revolution" stops in West Palm Beach to perform a benefit concert in aide of the Sonshine Family Ministries Building Fund.
- West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) November 07, 2011 - Internationally renowned reggae super star Papa San, who achieved worldwide fame for his DJ skills and his dancehall lyrics, will grace the stage of Royal Palm Beach High School on November 19th in a benefit concert for Sonshine Family Ministries in West Palm Beach. Papa San's (aka "The Marathon Man") rise to world acclaim began in the 1980's as a teenager. His fame skyrocketed with the release of such international chart topping songs like, 'Legal Rights', 'Strange' and 'Maddy Maddy Cry'. With hits holding notable positions in the top 10 spots longer than any other Reggae artist to date; San gained international notoriety as one of dancehall reggae's superstars.
In the late 1990's Papa San's musical direction changed as life's experiences directed his desires to develop a truly personal and a deeper relationship with God. This direction produced a change of lyrics which subsequently led him to record with notable gospel royalty like, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary just to name a few.
Today, Papa San now known as Papa Son is on tour promoting his new Album "My Story Revolution", featuring the hit single, "Devotion". This tour is his opportunity to spread the gospel through his NEW music. On November 19th, Papa San will be joined on stage by gospel artists Minister Jody McCalla, Sharon Wiles and Tennishia "Sis King" King and others, in a benefit fundraising concert, designed to raise money for the Sonshine Family Ministries' Building Fund.
The benefit concert will be hosted by none other than Mikey-B of WAVS 1170AM radio on Saturday, November 19th, at Royal Palm Beach High School.
