International Oil & Gas co-operations convene at the 2nd Myanmar Oil & Gas Summit on the 17th & 18th June 2013
Myanmar has emerged as the latest country to prove its economic development and investment opportunities within its newly discovered energy reserves. Unlike any other country, Myanmar has had its reserves protected by its communist ruled country for many years. Since its democratic reform and international sanctions being lifted, the opportunities have become visible and available for our Internet.

The country in general is lacking what we consider a basic infrastructure. After the Myanmar Oil & Gas Summit in February it is obvious that International countries are hungry for the investment opportunities in the energy sector. On the website for the state-run Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) , there is a 2006 estimate of proven reserves, which stood at 226 million barrels of oil and 457 billions cubic meters of gas.

The 2nd Myanmar Oil & Gas Summit will take place on the 17th & 18th June 2013 with a Golf Networking day on the 19th. The summit will allow attendees to benefit from expert insight in to the potential of future bidding rounds and analysing what the Exploration & Production prospects are for the offshore and onshore blocks with a detailed update of the current status of the second round of bidding on the 18 blocks announced in mid January.
