Happiness has been described as elusive by many people across the world. “Not so”, according to the director of the Word and Happiness Institute.
(1888PressRelease) July 08, 2008 - Speaking on International Happiness Day, which is due on the 10 July 2008, he said the day is a welcome development to remind us all that happiness is a human right and that no one should be living an unhappy life.
To this end, the director of the Institute, Dr Joel Akande, emphasised, the need for everyone to endeavour to make desires and intentions that is consistent with human-made laws, resolve in our mind to overlook and to find legitimate solutions to our difficulties, aim to harm no one and exercise acts that is Godly, in conformity with natural laws . He also reminded us that forgiveness of offences is vital to happiness.
Asked, what contribution his Institute can make towards human happiness on International Happiness Day, he had this to say: “The Word and Happiness Institute is as from 10 July 2008, making available, free online consultation on happiness, to anyone anywhere in the world”. He added: “This is to mark the special day and for everyone to be able to access readily available resources on happiness.”
