International Forum on the Historical and Cultural Heritage Opens in Khakassia
The III International Forum "Historico-Cultural Heritage as a Source of Socio-Cultural Development" will take place in the Republic of Khakassia, Russian Federation, on June 26-30.

Forum on the cultural heritage of Khakassia will be held for the third time. This year Khakassia will hold the meeting of reputable Russian and foreign experts, representatives of government and business, experts in the field of culture, history, archeology, mass media from Russia, Bulgaria, Spain, England, Finland, the Netherlands and other countries.
The plenary session of the Forum will be moderated by Alexander Arhangelsky, Russian literature critic, publicist, writer, author and anchorman of Tem vremenem (Meanwhile) show on Kultura TV channel (Moscow), and Arthur Ghukasyan, president of International Theatre Festival High Fest (Armenia, Yerevan).
The total number of Forum's participants will be more than three hundred people. Among them, Aleksey Levykin, director of the State Historical Museum (Moscow), Dmitri Amunc, deputy chief of Federal Tourism Agency (Moscow), Petr Borodin (Moscow), president of Fund of Assistance of archeological monuments preservation Archeological Heritage (Moscow), Mike Ribalta, art director of the Fira Tarrega festival (Barcelona, Spain), Casper de Vries, curator of the major European street theater festivals (Olst, the Netherlands), Nadezhda Simakina, expert in the field of cultural clusters development (Helsinki, Finland), etc.
The participants will discuss the role of books and publishing in the digital era, the development of small, non-urbanized areas, issues of child and youth tourism. In addition, the program of the forum will include the All-Russian conference of native minorities and the round table discussion on the preservation of cultural heritage Archaeology and civil society.
Under the museum direction there will be held the open sitting of Scientific council of historical museums and museums of regional studies of Russian Federation on the design and creation of new museums. On the exhibition "National motifs in art of Tyva and Khakassia" both regions will present elements of traditional housing, national clothes, art, and photos of people and nature of the region made by the contemporaries. Paintings by Repin, Konchalovsky, Grabar, sculptures by Vrubel, photos by Turgenev, Ostrovsky, and Block will be presented at another exhibition at the Forum - Chefs-d'oeuvre of Bakhrushin Museum.
The concert program of the III International Forum "Historico-Cultural Heritage as a Source of Socio-Cultural Development" declared the performances of ethnic groups, Mariinsk Theatre soloists - Khachatur Badalyan, tenor, Larisa Yudina, soprano and Jan Moritz Onken, conductor, as well as Vanessa Mae, famous composer and violinist. The traditional folk festival Tun Pairam ("feast of the first milk") with ethnic music, spectacular shows and competitions in national sports will complete the Forum.
