International Advanced Healing Group to Attend 2014 SADBOC
International Advanced Healing Group subsidiary, Advanced Health Institute (AHI) and their marketing partners Medistar, Inc. have announced their intention to attend this year's SADBOC government procurement fair.
- (1888PressRelease) April 12, 2014 - Singapore - IAHG [International Advanced Healing Group, Ltd.], the Singapore-based healing management technology group, along with its wholly-owned US based subsidiary AHI (Advanced Health Institute) says it plans to attend the forthcoming 15th Annual SADBOC Government Procurement Fair to be held at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Minnesota on April 30th.
Medistar's Rodney McGee is expected to attend the event with Medistar CEO, Werner Remmen. Medistar recently partnered with Advanced Health Institute to offer their TruHeal product to ethnic groups considered more susceptible to healing problems with diabetes.
SADBOC is the Small and Disadvantaged Business Opportunities Council and helps small businesses and businesses owned and operated by disadvantaged persons to secure government contracts with federal agencies. The Fair combines education with marketing strategies with a view to providing opportunities for representatives to meet with officials from Federal, State and local departments as well as prime contractors and nonprofit organizations.
Typically, the following groups are considered to be socially disadvantaged: Black Americans; Hispanic Americans; Native Americans; Asian Pacific Americans; and Subcontinent Asian Americans. Others that feel they have been subjected to racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias within American society because of their identities as members of groups and without regard to their individual qualities may also qualify.
Mr. McGee said, "The fair is all about empowering small business and other businesses that otherwise might not have a chance to bid for government contracts. We intend to meet with representatives of the Indian Health Service, the American Indian Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Veterans Affairs to introduce AHI to procurement personnel."
