(1888PressRelease) March 22, 2011 - Henderson, NV - Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas is working to make our community a better place to live for everyone as it builds single family homes throughout Clark County for working families earning less than 80% of Area Median Income. Many supporting organizations volunteer their time daily. Volunteers are skilled in building landscapes, roofs, painting, erecting walls, and general clean up to help build Habitat homes. The homes are sold at no profit through a no-interest mortgage.
Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas revitalizes and stabilizes neighborhoods in our community that cannot support private development. Sponsors, donors, volunteers and families work together to build homes that give families a sense of security and grow a community of neighbors.

The Habitat ReStore generates operating revenue by salvaging, recycling and sourcing overstock building materials and selling them to the public at highly discounted prices. It also provides training and employment opportunities. Nearly all of the revenue generated from the sale of donated items directly supports the construction of Habitat homes in Clark County.

Interlan Financial Corporation, and its sister organization Interlan Charitable Foundation, will dedicate their time and resources to support future projects. From 10 to 30 employees will volunteer their personal time to help with building projects. ICF will also support future projects by donating funds, and will seek out other revenue sources to help with more ambitious projects.
