- (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2011 - DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq: ININ), a global provider of unified IP business communications solutions, is hosting a free Web event titled, "Cloud Communications: Is it the right move for your business?" This 90-minute webcast will be held May 3, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time (EDT).
The webcast, already attracting more than 1,000 pre-registrants, will feature Donna Fluss, president and founder of DMG Consulting. Fluss will draw on her more than 27 years of contact center experience, which includes in-depth research into hosted contact centers, to give attendees key insights into the issues associated with migrating communications to the cloud.
Also participating will be Philips Healthcare, represented by Erwin Thomas, senior director of the customer care solutions center, who will share lessons learned as a result of migrating his company's contact centers' communications applications to the cloud.
The webcast will conclude with an extensive Q&A session enabling attendees to submit questions to an expert panel composed of Fluss, Thomas, and joined by Richard Snow, head of customer and contact center research at Ventana Research, and Joe Staples, chief marketing officer at Interactive Intelligence.
"Cloud computing, and now cloud communications, is a hot topic," Shaheen Haque, Territory Manager, Middle East & Turkey at Interactive Intelligence said. "And it's no wonder given the many benefits -- from increased flexibility and no or low upfront capital expenses, to reduced IT staff, faster deployment, and even new opportunities to run business in more innovative ways. Our goal for this Web event is to provide expert advice that will help attendees make the most informed decisions associated with moving their communications applications to the cloud."
According to DMG Consulting's "2010-2011 Hosted Contact Center Infrastructure Market Report," the industry has solid momentum, with 25 percent seat-growth projected for 2011.
