The lecture will focus on a very unique integrative approach in the management of respiratory diseases, its evaluation and management. It will combine both Eastern (Ayurvedic perspective) and western (Allopathic) perspectives to bridge the best of both approaches for further optimization of the lung condition and its overall management. The lecture will also review the ayurvedic perspective of pathophysiology of the diseases and preventive aspects.
Dr. Kirankumar J. Viramgama is a pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine physician. He is board certified in pulmonary and sleep medicine. Dr. Viramgama practices at Gettysburg Lung Center in Gettysburg, PA and is a consultant in Pulmonary and Critical Care at The Gettysburg Hospital since 2001. He has a special interest in integrative management of pulmonary and sleeps disorder.
