Under the new contract, members of Aetna's network-based plans will be able to receive covered benefits at in-network rates for HST and Overnight Pulse-Oximetry Testing from IDS.
Regarding HSTs, Aetna considers unattended home sleep monitoring using a Type II, III, or IV device medically necessary to diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in members with symptoms of OSA.
