Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) February 10, 2015 - Hands-on learning takes center stage as The Perot Museum of Nature and Science hosts the FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) tournament at their Fair Park campus. This active learning engages young minds and inspires young scientist to experiment and overcome challenges, building self-confidence and leadership skills, goals shared by both FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and The Perot Museum of Nature and Science. For this North Texas Regional Tournament, Mecca Design and Production, a dynamic scenic element and services design/build group, built thirteen, 4' x 8' Lego tournament tables for the FIRST LEGO® League and The Perot Museum. FLL builds teams of ten, comprised of young people in grades 4 to 8, to discover the fun and excitement of science and technology.
