Lawrence S. Halperin, M.D., of Orlando Orthopaedic Center was installed on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) on March 13. AAOS has more than 18,000 active orthopedic surgeons as members in the U.S.A., and almost 38,000 members worldwide.
The Academy's stated mission is to serve the profession of orthopedic surgery to provide the highest quality care.
