Inroads To Opportunities Welcomes New Vice President
Christine Zito named Vice President of Human Resources & Administration.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) January 24, 2024 - Inroads to Opportunities, a Union County, NJ based non-profit, human services agency that provides programs and services to individuals with disabilities ranging in age from 16 to retirement, is pleased to announce and welcome Christine Zito to the agency.
Christine Zito is a resident of Parsippany, NJ.
In her new role as Vice President of Human Resources & Administration, Christine will handle all facets of human resources including every stage of the employment life cycle. In addition, Zito will oversee policies and procedures, compliance and quality assurance practices. She is responsible for personnel recruitment, stewarding the applicant vetting process, new hire orientation and onboarding, performance management, staff development and ongoing training needs per department and discipline. She also serves as the agency’s benefits administrator as well as keeping current on state and federal regulations regarding recruitment, benefits, DEI, and separation. Christine will also serve as the liaison between the agency and the CWA Union.

Christine is PHR, Professional in Human Resources, Certified with twenty years of experience in Human Resources Management, as well Payroll and Benefits Administration. Christine most recently held leadership positions at ADP and previously served in Human Resources managerial roles in privately held companies and academic institutions.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.

Since 1959, Inroads to Opportunities, formerly the Occupational Center of Union County, has provided programs and services to over 400 individuals each year with all types of disabilities and ranging in age from 16 through retirement – many of whom are economically disadvantaged. Programs and services include vocational preparation, transition from school to work, job placement, certificate training programs, and mental health services.
Inroads to Opportunities is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an approved provider of both the NJ Department of Labor, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Commission of the Blind and Visually Impaired. Inroads is licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services, NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services to provide partial care and by the NJ Department of Developmental Disabilities to provide Day Habilitation Services. Inroads is an approved Medicaid provider, a licensed provider for the NJ Department of Agriculture for its adult day meals program, an approved Employment Network under the Ticket to Work Social Security initiative and an approved Benefits Planning and Counseling Service through the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
