Inroads To Opportunities Celebrated Autism Awareness Month With Second Flag Raising Ceremony

Inroads To Opportunities, a Union County, NJ based non-profit human services agency that provides programs and services to individuals with disabilities, celebrated their second Flag Raising Ceremony in honor of a Autism Awareness Month at Roselle Borough Hall in Roselle, NJ.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 23, 2025 - Inroads To Opportunities, a Union County, NJ based non-profit human services agency that provides programs and services to individuals with disabilities, celebrated their second Flag Raising Ceremony in honor of a Autism Awareness Month at Roselle Borough Hall in Roselle, NJ.
The event featured heartfelt speeches from community leaders, including Inroads Assistant Director, Linda Galarreta and Inroads President & CEO Angela Calzone.
In the opening address, Galarreta said, “Autism is sewn into the fabric of the daily life of many of us. While promoting awareness, we aim to build an inclusive community where everyone can feel included and embraced.”
Angela Calzone, President & CEO of Inroads elaborated further, “I can't think of a more befitting place to celebrate Autism Awareness and raise this flag. This moment is a reminder of the importance of acceptance, understanding, and support for those with autism and other developmental disabilities. This flag raising is more than a symbol — and Roselle , NJ, is more than just a municipality.”
In conclusion, Calzone stated, “Inroads would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the Mayor of Roselle, the Honorable Donald A. Shaw. Roselle, Councilwoman-at-Large, Ms. Denise Wilkerson, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel, Union County Assistant Prosecutor Gina Iosim. Councilwoman for Borough of Roselle, Isabel Sousa, and Assistant Director, Linda Galarreta for supporting this meaningful event.”
