INO.com, Inc., a website that provides quotes, charts, news and analysis for stock, futures, forex, ETF and mutual fund traders, selects St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as their January 2015 INO Cares charity recipient.
- Baltimore, MD (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2015 - INO.com has encouraged employees to nominate nonprofit organizations as candidates for their INO Cares program. This program, in its second year, selects a monthly regional or national organization to receive a monetary donation. "Last year we contributed to a lot of great causes. This year, we wanted our employees to be more involved by asking them to nominate charities that they felt very strongly about," says INO.com president, Adam Hewison. "Everyone has a soft spot for a charity or cause, we wanted to donate to organizations that really mattered to our employees."
January 2015's INO Cares charity recipient was selected by Diane Phillips, Director of Operations. Diane has been with INO.com for nine years. Diane is a mother of two and a grandmother to seven. "Diane's grandchildren are her world and she always has a sweet story to share about her little cuties," says Lindsay Bittinger, Director of Marketing. "She loves children, so it makes total sense that she would pick St. Jude as her favorite charity."
St. Jude is a not-for-profit hospital that provides treatment to children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. They boast one of the highest survival rates for some of the most aggressive pediatric cancers. St. Jude's patients and their families will not receive bills for treatment, travel, housing or food due to the charity of individuals who cover their $2 million per day operating cost.
