Memphis, TN-AR-MS (1888PressRelease) November 22, 2012 - Innovo Publishing LLC released a new Christian title, Blessings of My Breast Cancer, written by Aley Abraham with Susan Abraham Thomas. When it seems everything is against you, what do you do? Where do you go? Aley tells her story of where and how she found hope after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through Blessings of My Breast Cancer, Aley will take you by the hand, remind you that you are not alone, and help you to navigate through the deep emotions that having cancer can bring to the surface.
Blessings of My Breast Cancer chronicles the real-life struggles that Aley experienced when her father was diagnosed with cancer and later when the thing she feared most-cancer-came to get her. This book explains how she overcame her fear, anxiety, and guilt. Written with practical application, she gives ten steps to not only overcome but to find opportunities in the midst of the struggle.

"I am happy to recommend the book, Blessings of My Breast Cancer by Aley Abraham. The authenticity of the book lies in personal experience of going through the dreaded sickness of cancer. To hear about the disease and to go through the sickness are not the same. In Aley Abraham, the reader will find a transformed person with deeper faith, entering into theological reflections and learning greater biblical truths. I pray that this book illuminates the lives of innumerable people to recognize that life is 'fearfully and wonderfully made' by God."
-Geevarghese Mar Theodosius, Ph.D, Bishop, Mar Thoma Church, Diocese of North America and Europe
"Blessings of My Breast Cancer by Aley Abraham is a profoundly fascinating and inspiring work. It is a sublime response and articulation of a noble Christian who encounters the most shocking experience of fatal cancer disease. This book could be recommended as a spiritual reading and therapy text for cancer patients and inspirational literature for all those who are in pursuit of peace and meaning in life."
-Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Tiruvalla, India
"Every thirty seconds, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. A new voice is needed to not only increase awareness, but also to provide hope for those who find themselves on this lonely, unfamiliar road. Aley's story is real, and it provides insight into a life-changing event. A potentially deadly mass of cells brought out a strength and courage that I suspect she did not even know she had. Aley's understanding of the Bible and its practical, daily application to her new world of medical interventions and interactions will certainly be an inspiration to people of any religion. Aley's book will serve as a bridge for patients, families, and friends, traversing the difficult waters between the lands of cancer and survival."
-Roshni Rao MD, FACS, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, Vice Chief of Staff, UTSW Zale Hospital
