About the Author:
Eric was born and brought up in Greenwich Village; here he developed his interest in art and writing as well. The Sunset Warrior was Eric Van Lustbader's first novel, published in 1975. He was the first US writer to predict the success of Elton John through his writings. Mr. Lustbader is also the author of two successful fantasy series, The Pearl and The Sunset Warrior Cycle. Eric Van Lustbader is on the Board of Trustees and is Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of the City & Country School in Greenwich Village. He also tends his valued collection of Japanese maples and beech trees. Eric lives in New York City with his wife who Victoria who is also a writer.
