The prestigious Indywood Interior & Architecture Excellence Awards - UAE Chapter concluded successfully at Sharjah on 27.02.2017. The event was organised by Indywood team at Ocean Blue Theatre, Sharjah.
- (1888PressRelease) March 01, 2017 - Indywood Interior & Architecture Excellence Awards - UAE Chapter was organised to honour individuals who have contributed towards different sectors of the Film Industry like Theatre, Home Theatre, Studios etc.
Indywood Interior & Architecture Excellence Awards - UAE Chapter had a special Hall of fame award section. The award was bestowed on the basis of an individual's contribution to the industry, the risks took to achieve results, long terms achievements and the outcome of the project handled by them. The goal of the award was to celebrate the achievements of an individual who has become a torch bearer for the society and an idol for youngsters who can look upon them to shape their own careers in this industry. The award for this category was bestowed upon Mr. PNC Menon, Chairman, Shobha Group.

Finally, Indywood Interior & Architecture Excellence Awards - UAE Chapter special recognition award was bestowed upon Mr. Venukumar, President, TKM College of Engineering Alumni - UAE Chapter
The award function was also preceded by a panel discussion on 'New Generation Home Theatres'. During this session, eminent panellists discussed on how 'Home theatres', an ideal investment with great returns, have not just dramatically enhanced our movie watching, gaming and TV watching experience but have also revolutionised the e-learning sector by facilitating the concept of theatre classrooms. These theatres are equipped with high definition projection, 7.1 audio surround systems with comfortable seating utilising the concept of Learning through visual cues aids for better understanding and retrieval of concepts.
Indywood Interior & Architecture Excellence Awards - UAE Chapter was organized as a part of Project Indywood, a US$10 Billion Project to be initiated by a consortium of 2000 Indian corporate and Multi-Millionaires. As a part of Project Indywood, in the next 4 years Rs.35000 crore worth of Multiplex Projects are also expected. National Level Indywood Interior & Architecture Excellence Awards shall also be organised in concurrence with Indywood Film Carnival, the ultimate film fiesta in the world at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad scheduled from December 1 - 4, 2017.
