- Baltimore, MD (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2015 - Founder and CEO of Elliott Affiliates, Ltd., Vince Elliott, will hold a free session on performance-based contracting for facility services on March 11, at the NFMT Conference and Expo in Baltimore.
Mr. Elliott, who was among the first professionals to provide education on, and consulting for the performance-based contracting industry in its early stages, will detail his 14-step approach to a successful performance based contract for janitorial and maintenance services. Performance-based contracts, as opposed to traditional contracts, provide financial incentives to the contractor for improved performance over time. According to Elliott, the chief difference is that buyers in a traditional contract pay for specific tasks, while buyers in a performance-based contract pay for results.
"Successful performance-based contracting is not about how many times people show up or how many times they complete a task; it is about the results and outcomes that are produced," said Elliott.
Mr. Elliott's session will take place on Wednesday, March 11 at 4:10 p.m. The session is part of the NFMT Conference and Expo, an educational and networking event for facilities professionals, taking place from March 10-12 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
