Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective has been awarded the Visual Design prize on Saturday, October 24, and it truly is a testament to the amazing world created by the artists of IC4Design and Darjeeling’s privilege to turn this work of art into an interactive experience that can be shared with loved ones.
Darjeeling Prod., a French multimedia studio who got recognized with their first game, Californium (2016) and confirmed their reputation with Homo Machina (2018), strives at making the game as close as possible to the books that so enraptured them with their intricate and detailed life scenes, all the while implementing gameplay ideas that will appeal to both children and adult players.
Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective is a puzzle/adventure game set to launch in late Q1/early Q2 2020, where players take on the role of Pierre, a detective intent on catching the nefarious Mr. X who fled Opéra City Museum carrying the Maze Stone! On their chase, they will encounter eccentric characters and solve puzzles to progress. The game also contains a number of mini-games and hidden objects for the completionists among us.
