Independence University Granted ACCSC Accreditation
Independence University (IU has been granted accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). In addition to ACCSC accreditation, some of IU's academic programs are also accredited by specialized agencies.

ACCSC has been granting accreditation to private, post-secondary career schools and colleges for over 40 years and is listed as a nationally recognized, non-profit, independent accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
Accreditation is one of the most important credentials that a college or university can achieve. It's an acknowledgment of a school's adherence to a specific set of quality standards and practices,as established by an independent third-party agency.
