Independence University has introduced a fully online Associate's of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Medical Specialties degree for students interested in breaking into the booming healthcare industry.

The university has introduced a fully online Associate's of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Medical Specialties degree for students interested in breaking into the booming healthcare industry.
The program includes courses in a variety of healthcare topics, such as Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Billing, Medical Records and Communication, Clinical Procedures, Electrocardiography, Pharmacy Essentials, etc.
Students are also trained in practical radiology and laboratory techniques as part of this program. Additionally, they are required to complete 150 hours of supervised externship at a location approved by the school.
