In-tend Ltd to Attend Prestigious Education Procurement Event
The Conference on University Purchasing (COUP) will be attended later this year by In-tend Ltd, the procurement solutions company who have a huge presence in the Further and Higher education sectors.
- (1888PressRelease) July 26, 2011 - The event is held at the prestigious University of St Andrews, the meeting place of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, between the 6th and 8th of September. It is hosted by AUPC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) who are the procurement centre of expertise and purchasing consortium for Scotland's Universities and Colleges.
The conference itself will commence on the 7th following the annual general meeting of the Association of university Procurement Officers (AUPO) on the 6th.
In-tend will be exhibiting at the supplier exhibition throughout the 7th and 8th of September which will be running alongside the conference and will cover vital procurement topics within the higher education sector in the form of seminars and key note speakers. The procurement specialists, based in South Yorkshire, will be showcasing their portfolio of procurement solutions at the exhibition and aim to develop and create more relationships in the Higher Education Sector.
COUP is a very significant event for procurement professionals and those with the responsibility for purchasing both in the UK Further and Higher education sectors and across the English speaking world of higher education.
The event is held every 2 years in a different region of the UK and hosted by a different higher education purchasing consortium but this year it's held at Scotland's first university which is also the third oldest in the English speaking world. In-tend, who have attended at every event since 2006, will also be sponsoring some golfing umbrellas which are fitting with golfing heritage of the St. Andrews area.
For the finale there will be evening entertainment with a gala dinner at the world famous Old Course Hotel.
