In Mumbai, Sankalp 2019 turns on Microsoft Office Specialist India Championship and ICT Junior India Championships for School Graders

- (1888PressRelease) December 12, 2018 - Sankalp World Championships, a brand under Sankalp Smart School of Veloces Consulting Services Private Limited, unveils the hunt for India’s talent in Microsoft office productivity tool for the age group between 8 to 22 years. This provides a unique opportunity for students across India to showcase their IT skills and become a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).
There are two championships which are a part of this event. Microsoft Office Specialist India Championship and ICT Junior India Championships.
Microsoft Office Specialist India Championships is the official leg of the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championships, which is a global competition that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel® and PowerPoint® (2013 or 2016). There are different levels of competition. Students who qualify at Regional level will advance to the National level. National Level competition is of top 150 -250 selected students. It’s scheduled on 24th and 25th May 2019 at Pune, Maharastra, India. Winners would be awarded Microsoft Office Specialist India Champion and get an opportunity to travel to the USA to be a part of this World Championships in an all-expense paid trip to this event. This time it’s happening in New York, USA from 28th July to 2nd August 2019. Students would be awarded Trophy, Medal of Achievement, winner’s certificate, Cash prize up to $7500* as prize money for the World Champion team.
ICT Junior India Championships is a National level championship to test the ICT Skills of School kids in classes 4th standard to 7th Standard in Schools. Students receive Co-Branded Participation Certificate from Certiport, U.S.A and Sankalp World Championships. Students would be awarded Trophy, Medal of Achievement, winner’s certificate and various prizes.
1000’s of Students from over 100 schools in Mumbai are participating in this championship. The championship attracts lakhs of students from India every year and is conducted in all major cities and towns across the country. Some of the participating schools in Mumbai include Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir, Jamnabhai Narsee School, Hiranandani Foundation School, NES International School, RN Podar School, NSS Hill Spring International, Billabong High, Garodia International, RBK International, New Horizon, NL Dalmiya, JBCN, Euro School, Podar International, etc.

While the first regional round is being done this month, students who have not yet participated have not completely lost the opportunity to be a part of it. The Championship evangelization team will visit the school with a detailed presentation.
