- (1888PressRelease) April 20, 2011 - Yet again, IMT, Gaziabad made it to the top ten list of management institutes in the country. Ranked seven by Economic Times in their Corporate Dossier, dated 15 April, 2011, IMT Ghaziabad stands tall and proud. The institute has been awarded its ranking after a survey conducted by the publication whose respondents were 500 of India's largest companies. Big names, bigger businesses were selected based on their turnover. The business areas covered were Marketing, IT, HR, Finance and Production.
Each of the 500 companies chosen to respond actively recruits fresh management graduates from the B-schools on the list. Naturally, the first question was which B-school companies preferred to choose their new managers from? How ready were the fresh graduates to take on their job responsibilities? Were they professional? Did they have the requisite technical knowledge?
The ranking system was fool proof in its accuracy with deep thought going into the several factors that decided on the B-School ranking. Obviously the respondents had to do a lot of soul searching before they answered: this was a case of careers.
Robin Sharma once said, "You are not just paid to work. You are paid to be uncomfortable - and to pursue projects that scare you." Not anymore. Companies realise and accept that commitment comes with passion.
