IMC Construction Continues Expansion Hires Exec for Business Development
IMC Construction, an award-winning professional construction management and general contracting firm based in Malvern, PA, is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Purcell, AIA, CCM, LEED AP to its staff.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) January 05, 2012 - As Director of Business Development, Purcell will use his experience and expertise in the Mid-Atlantic construction market to expand IMC's business both regionally and nationally. His role with the company includes developing long-term client relations, strategic business planning, and coordinating marketing efforts. He was most recently Director of Business Development and Marketing at Nason Construction and before that a Senior Associate at Heery International, a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty.

Purcell is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and brings more than 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry as a registered architect, certified construction manager, and LEED accredited professional. He specializes in multi-million dollar construction projects for corporate, education, healthcare and government clients with a focus on integrating sustainable design concepts into building programs.
Purcell is co-founder and Past President of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council and is an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University where he teaches construction law. He is a 2011 Fellow of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia and is active in various community and professional associations including the American Institute of Architects and Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia.
