Lee Tops Field to Bring Home $20,000 in Prize Money and Contract to Perform with "Legends in Concert".

Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2015 - Today, the Images of the King Elvis Festival announced that its Elvis Tribute Artist winner David Lee has taken the top prize in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held in Memphis, Tennessee.
Lee won the Ocean City qualifier at the annual festival in October 2014 and with that win, the honor of competing in Memphis for the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist. The 24 best tribute artists from around the world competed the week of August 10 for $20,000 in prize money, a contract to perform with the live tribute show, "Legends in Concert" and other prizes.
"This is a dream come true - there's no higher honor," said Lee. "This is my 20th year performing as Elvis and winning the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist is the top of the mountain. Lee has also won the title of top Elvis Tribute Artist at the http://www.LakeGeorge.com festival, the Georgia festival and the Indiana festival, all produced by Sherry Management as part of the ElvisFestival.com series of events. Lee hails from Alabama and has been performing for a number of years, after becoming a big fan of The King more than 20 years ago. His favorite Elvis songs are "Promised Land" and "Unchained Melody."
Elvis Tribute Artists compete for the ultimate title by showcasing their "best representation of the legacy of Elvis Presley." Tribute Artists can only compete in Memphis by winning an official preliminary round at one of 24 Elvis festivals held around the world. Artists are judged on criteria including vocals, style, stage wear and stage presence.
