IILM, Greater Noida Hosts ICGI, The National Symposium
The IILM Graduate management school, Greater Noida, counted amongst top 10 MBA institutes in India, adopts a comprehensive approach towards business education.
- (1888PressRelease) January 28, 2014 - They believe in developing an interactive course structure that provides its students with ample opportunities to gain exposure to the global business practices and scholarly trends. In an attempt to further emphasize on this policy, the institute organized the ICGI 2013 (Innovation as a Catalyst for Growth and Inclusion 2013). It was a conference held on the 5th of October, 2013, in which several research scholars participated. It was an attempt to amalgamate academic exposures and introduction to policy making bodies, under a single canopy, so as to benefit the students with this experience.
This was a national level conference that became a platform for constructive discussions regarding the present rate of economic growth. It further debated on the new approaches that can be implemented so as to boost a more comprehensive growth process in India. Various intellects, businessmen, consultants, researchers and students participated in the symposium. The college, being one of the best MBA colleges in India understands its responsibility to produce socially responsible corporate citizens. This event was an attempt in this series.
Mr. Rajat Jain, Mnaging Director, Xerox was also an attendee at the conference. He launched the Management Perspective (National Conference special edition, Volume II Issue I), which is the in-house Magazine. On the occasion, he expressed his views about the essence of an innovative approach in the corporate segment. He emphasized that for a steady growth, it is vital to introduce some pioneering ideas in the present market trends.
Mr. Aditya Dev Sood, Founder and CEO, Centre for Knowledge Societies also voiced his opinion on the subject. He talked about the innovative strategies being devised and implemented by his company. Similarly, another eminent guest Mr. Nishant Sinha, Director, Centre for Social Intervention talked about the need for an innovative approach in the field of education, so as to bring about positive changes.
Thus, this was a holistic experience for the students. It created an opportunity for them to understand the contemporary socio-economic trends. IILM being one of the best MBA Colleges in India aspires to hold many such events to promote the benefits of its students.
