IDT (Institute of Design and Technology) Annual Fashion Show -"FASHIONOVA 2012"
IDT organized "Fashionova 2012" for the first time with wide range of themes. Fashionova 2012 says, "make everyday ordinary into everyday extraordinary" which means there are more ordinary days in life then why not make them special by wearing cute and stylish outfits. It brings to you tempting quality with a mixture of trend and style.
- (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2013 - For the first time IDT-Institute of Design and Technology presented the breath taking ultra stylish dazzling event "FASHIONOVA" on 9 June, 2012. Our event partner for this Fashion show was "The Gateway Hotel."
Inspired from the informative bi-annual Summer as well as Winter visits to Lakme Fashion Week, the students showcased the art of application of design and natural beauty to clothing. From sketching ideas on paper to draping fabric on a dress form, the IDT students transformed everyday ordinary into everyday extraordinary ready-to-wear garments with a plethora of themes like vertigo, virtual wonders, flavors of India, color black, dark samurai, essence of nature, elves and demons, khadi khaas, 24 carat glamour, secret garden and bubblegum and candy.
Not only this, the sizzling model, Aanchal Kumar, who appeared in Bigg Boss (season 4), was also invited who walked on the ramp gracefully.
The main sponsor of the event is Rolex Tours and Travels and the associate sponsors of the event are Paris Fashions, D.Khushalbhai Jewellers, TBZ jewelers, and Media partners are 94.3 My Fm, Cinepolis.
IDT "Fashionova 2012" had Mr. Rakesh Asthana (Police Commissioner, Surat) as a chief guest and Mr.Subash Dhawan ( Fstudio Owner) & Mr. Pappu Bhai ( Suchitra Group) as a Guest of honor and other Dignataries who witnessed our spectacular event.
Fashion is all about sensuality which can be seen in the outfits created by IDT students. The Fashion show mesmerized the entire audience by its thrilling, innovative and artistic creations which will be remembered for its great beauty and charming look.
After the Grand Success of "FASHIONOVA 2012- Annual Fashion Show" IDT-Institute of Design & Technology presented its Garments through Ramp walk in SGCCI- South Gujarat chamber of Commerce and Industry, Fibre 2 fashion show brochure launch .The event was scheduled on 5 July '12 at Surat's luxury destination Taj Gateway.
It's been almost 2.5 yrs to IDT and in such short time span it has made its name so famous. We motivate our students to choose the right path and channelize their high spirits with the best of facilities available. Every success is born of a dream which begins the dreamer.
