Ltd., Bangalore, at the awards ceremony which took place at The Westin, Gurgaon on 16th December 2011. Saravanan B Ayyappan, Aloft, Chennai was also declared as the first runner up for the title.
The awards which saw nominations from across the country had the winners chosen by the jury in recognition of their contributions to IT in the handling of front and back-of-house operations at the hotel. Presenting the award of behalf of IDS NEXT was Mr. Manoj K. Mohanty, VP Sales, South and Central Asia.
In a celebration of excellence, the third chapter of the Hotelier India Awards witnessed the presence of industry stalwarts and aimed at bringing merit to hotel personnel across departments including back-of-house roles as well. The nominations for the 'IT person of the year' award showcased some of the best examples of hotels leveraging technology to increase efficiency and productivity through the creation of streamlined business processes.
