(1888PressRelease) November 09, 2008 - Idea Parke…connecting Investors and Companies, a marketing program commissioned by NAILF (National Angel Investor Lender Fund) and created by Parke Media provides information about “Investor Scams” to their Clients.
“We always ask our clients to inform us about their contact from investors,” says, Lynn Miller, President of Parke Media. “Recently several of our listed companies seeking investment into their new or existing businesses, sent us names of persons who contacted them about possible investment into their business opportunities.”
Idea Parke and Parke Media staff lead by Philip Sies, Vice President of Parke Media researched the names and investment records of the people claiming to be lenders and discovered they were actually confidence people who sounded like legitimate investors, but were actually out to cheat Idea Parke clients of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Dale Vollmer, Vice President Financial and Business Operations, adds, “I even spoke with a number of them on the phone and as a finance person and former President of an international company, even I was fooled at first. That’s how good they are.”
Idea Parke, as well as NAILF, sent a warning email to all of our clients informing them of investigated names to avoid. We also reported the names to numerous legal services designed to combat Internet Fraud.
