IDBI Bank's Branch and ATM network is now live on Google Maps
Geotagging initiative undertaken by the Bank enables users to search for the nearest IDBI branch or ATM on Google Maps via a simple application hosted on the Bank's website. The search facility available on the Bank's website will help the customers of the Bank to get the location, facilities available within the Branch, direction on how to reach the particular branch.
- (1888PressRelease) October 19, 2012 - Interacting with IDBI Bank has just become simpler for millions of its customers as a result of the geotagging initiative undertaken by the Bank which enables users to search for the nearest IDBI branch or ATM on Google Maps via a simple application hosted on the Bank's website. Customers of IDBI Bank can now accurately locate over 998 branches and 1592 ATMs of IDBI Bank across India and UAE with the help of this application.
This search facility available on the Bank's website will help the customers of the Bank to get the location, facilities available within the Branch, direction on how to reach the particular branch (map and milestone description). The facility is expected to add to the customers seamless experience with the Bank.
The initiative was officially launched by Shri R.M. Malla, CMD, IDBI Bank Ltd. in the presence of DMD & others senior officials of the Bank; speaking on the occasion, Shri. R. M. Malla, said "As a customer focused bank, we are constantly innovating to ensure that our services reach out to as many people as possible in a way that makes it convenient for them to bank with us." Shri B. K. Batra, DMD, IDBI Bank Ltd mentioned," This is a key initiative taken towards ensuring that banking with IDBI Bank is a convenient and hassle free experience."
