ICF BBA Fashion Entrepreneurship student Launched her Fashion Label in Asian Designer Week 2017

On November 5th, 2017, there was a streak of vigor, excitement, exuberance as well as anticipation for the ICF students. Ms. Komal Arora, fashion designer student of the BBA Fashion Entrepreneurship in ICF, participated in Asian Designer week 2017 and astounded everyone with her unique skills.
Ms. Komal Arora becomes the Winner of Design Competition that is organized by the famous Vaatsaalya Trust. She was given the direct entry in Gen Next designer category in Asian Designer week 2017 at Garden of Five Senses, New Delhi. She was also awarded the sewing machine for the first position. Ms. Komal Arora made a significant entry with ‘Substratum’ collection that underlying the layer beneath surface.
She displayed the nomadic lifestyle with detailing the Berber tribe, group of North Africa wearing the large layered cloth that is wrapped also known as the ‘Haiks’. ‘Substratum’ collection has many elements such as layered fabrics, thread belts and silhouette enabling contemporary touch of the sleeves, stylish tassels, capes, and collar. Green-white floral Organza Fabrics used in the garments along with the combination of green Sydney silk. Beautiful white dupion with the colored tassel also intensifies more beautiful look as the classic decorative element. In fact, it also gives the wearer ultimate modern feel and it stays connected to the beautiful look of the tribe.
