Symantec pay-as-you-go subscription model benefits partners and customers in the region.
- (1888PressRelease) June 27, 2013 - Dubai, UAE - iAXCESS today announced that it has become a fulfillment partner for the Symantec ExSP Licensing Program in the Middle East, covering the countries of Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, KSA, UAE, Jordan, Egypt and Tunisia. The ExSP program is an innovative licensing model that enables resellers to buy Symantec software on a monthly, subscription-based model, helping their customers to make the most of IT budgets while being able to benefit from leading security, backup and availability solutions. The program provides iAXCESS with greater flexibility in how they deliver solutions to their customers, while enabling organizations to streamline their costs to align with other monthly payments.
As more partners find opportunities to provide managed services to their customers, Symantec is to extend the benefits of its ExSP program to partners of all sizes, serving both small and medium-sized business and enterprise markets. Through the program, customers will benefit from being able to pay monthly for the services that they are using, enabling them to scale solutions to meet demand. iAXCESS is focusing on Internet Service Providers, Mobile Service Providers and Telecom Operators across the region for the ExSP Licensing Program. As a fulfillment partner, iAXCESS will enable customers to work with a managed service provider for streamlined invoicing, reporting and usage monitoring.
"Our partnership with Symantec gives us the opportunity to offer organizations a greater flexibility in adopting and implementing their solutions. The ExSP Program complements our experience working with ISPs and Telcos all over the past 10 years in order to provide managed services to organizations throughout the region, ensuring their information is protected and available when they need it," said Adnan abu Sharar, Managing Director at iAXCESS.
"The Symantec ExSP Licensing Program enables partners of all sizes across the Middle East to easily maximise profitability and minimise upfront investments. With this subscription-based model, Symantec partners can license our solutions in a way that makes it easier than ever before to do business with customers," said Ramzi Itani, channel director for Middle East and French-Speaking Africa, Symantec.
An additional advantage of the ExSP Licensing Program is that it provides partners with the opportunity for more predictable revenue and rewards growth, reducing capital expense and accelerating profitability by eliminating the need to buy future licenses in advance.
