Ian Whittock & Identidot DNA Security
Ian Whittock Managing Director of the Identidot group of companies, a provider of a unique DNA asset security coding package for the protection of valuable items of from theft, is delighted to announce the merger with Opulent Lifestyles, a leading security hardware systems installer.
- (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2012 - Ian said "We have created Identidot Systems Limited, a separate company but run by Identidot with the assistance of David Shell Director of the now discontinued Opulent Lifestyles and believe that the new products and services will work very well with the existing raft we offer including valuations, asset management software systems and search and recovery in the event of theft.
The newly established company will focus upon discrete but effective security measures for private individuals in their homes. However, the skill sets and experience available allow for the design and installation of innovative solutions for the business premises of the same clients. As a result, a single and reliable point of contact will deliver a range of services in a friendly and efficient manner.
Ian Whittock commented that "Seeing what David could bring to the Identidot table to enhance our own products and services places us in a unique position to fill an obvious gap in the market. We can deliver high quality solutions to discerning residential clients to keep safe their possessions, property and loved ones".
Specialist products are offered which include extremely high definition CCTV cameras capable of achieving forensic levels of detail, virtual perimeters which set up comprehensive areas of intruder detection but without any sensors or other devices being visible and long range readers which allow homeowners to enter through automatic gates without being exposed to the risk of attack by stopping to enter a code into a keypad or presenting a key fob to a standard reader.
A wireless, battery powered outbuilding alarm is aimed at addressing the persistent problem of burglaries of expensive tools and machinery from sheds. Because of the limits on pay out for thefts from outbuildings and excesses applicable to such incidents, these crimes often exist below the radar of the insurance industry with the victim usually picking up the cost of the loss. This equipment communicates with an alarm monitoring station using the 3G mobile network when a break-in occurs sending visual verification of the activation so that the monitoring station operators can warn off the intruders via speakers on site or call the police with confirmation that they have video evidence that the alarm in genuine.
In order to keep clients safe even away from the home, an App is offered to turn mobile phones into panic alarms. The phone is linked to a monitoring station whenever it is switched on at any time, 24 hours per day. If the phone is shaken once, an alarm is triggered allowing monitoring station staff to listen in to any conversation and view live footage from the phone's camera.
Ian said, "These are products that are in-keeping with the Identidot philosophy of protecting and supporting its clients and their assets and we are delighted to be offering these products to our existing client bank and new clients in the future. All products offered are fully monitored ad supported, which convinced us that this was the correct decision to make."
