IACM has inaugurated its fifth Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) at Kirari, Delhi. PMKK is Ministry of Skill Development & entrepreneurship (MSDE) effort towards creation of standardized & dedicated infrastructure wherein free of cost quality training shall be provided to the aspirants across the nation.

New Delhi, Delhi, 27th December, 2017: IACM has inaugurated its fifth Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) at Kirari, Delhi. PMKK is Ministry of Skill Development & entrepreneurship (MSDE) effort towards creation of standardized & dedicated infrastructure wherein free of cost quality training shall be provided to the aspirants across the nation.In order to create skilled workforce as per local needs, ensure higher visibility and enhance the aspirational value of skills, the MSDE intends to set up one Pradhan Mantri Kauhsal Kendra in each district of India.
Skill India is amongst the key priorities of our Hon’ble Prime Minister - Shri Narendra Modi who aspires to make India the “Skill Capital of the World”. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is working towards creating capacity and access for skill development training.
PMKK IACM Kirari campus is located at 767, Karan Vihar, 100ft Road, opp. Sector – 21, Rohini, Kirari, New Delhi, with more than 20000 sq feet area and going ensure skilling in eight sectos in the begining. The sectors are Domestic Worker, Furniture & Fixture, Security, Retail, Electronics, Beauty and Wellness, Construction and Plumbing. This PMKK has a capacity of training approx 5000+ students each year.
IACM is going to launch total six PMKK in Odisha & Delhi. One PMKK centre at Angul, Odisha will be launched in the next two months.
Shri Ravinder Goyal, Director, IACM, said, “Huge gap is there in skilled manpower requirements and availability of such trained people across the country and PMKK will help bridging this gap which would eventually result into giving a boost to the industries and people here in Odisha and also a better economy along with opportunities for all.
