(1888PressRelease) September 16, 2011 - Today the I am a Woman of God movement celebrates their 1 year anniversary. The movement was started with the purpose of reminding women their value in the Lord. using Job33:4 "The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life." as the basis of that concept. On Sept 15th 2010 the movement was officially launched on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/iamawomanofgod) which quickly grew to 1000 fans following the page. During the course of the year I am a Woman of God has grown to over 81,000 friends on facebook thanks to our friends that have recommended the page to others. At the same time I am a Woman of God has ministered to tens of thousands on a daily basis with their morning prayers, inspirational words and at times just lending an ear for those who just needed to talk to someone. There have been wonderful testimonies about how a word has changed someone's life and testimonies of lives coming to Christ because of a word written on the page or a word spoken to someone at an event.

I am a Woman of God also launched a Christian cloting line named I am a Woman of God (http://www.iamawomanofgod.com) and it has been a great success. There are many styles and designs to choose from and the response has been overwhelming. The shirts can be found online as well as in many Christian retail stores. The shirts have been worn as far as Africa. The shirts have been used to raise funds for hurricane and tornado victims as well as raising funds for different churches. There is a new program that will be launched in the coming days that will be of a blessing to many people.

There are also great giveaways that are held by I am a Woman of God which has been fun for the company and the thousands that have entered the giveaways.

We at I am a Woman of God want to thank all of our friends that have been with us, have supported us and have prayed for us. We celebrate the first year and give all the glory to God and we look forward to what the Lord has in store for all of us as we enter our second year.
