"We are pleased and honored to have been nominated for a 2012 IDEA Award," says HyGreen CEO, Craig T. Davenport. The human and financial costs resulting from hospital acquired infections (HAI) are staggering: more that 1.7 million people in the U.S. alone are infected by HAIs resulting in over 270 deaths per day. The financial burden to the U.S. healthcare system is more that $40 billion each year. These facts are why we have dedicated ourselves to assisting hospitals in reducing infections and saving lives. Recognition such as this underlines the important role of technology companies like HyGreen that are pioneering solutions to some of the world's most serious challenges."
"The new HyGreen badge has arrived at the intersection of good design and smart engineering," says ROBRADY design's founder Rob Brady. "Collaborating with the very talented team at HyGreen has been the case study for how to deliver smart products to solve tricky problems that in the end have the very real benefit of saving lives. It doesn't get any better than this."
HyGreen will be showcasing its HyGreen Hand Hygiene Recording and Reminding System at the upcoming conference of the American Organization of Nurse Executives in Boston and will be holding an introductory webinar on March 14th. To register, go to www.hygreen.com.
