HUSUM Sees European Debut of Tentec's New Range of Innovative Hydraulic Torque Wrenches
See Tentec's new range of torque wrenches for the wind industry make its European debut at HUSUM WInd Energy.
- (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2010 - Stand 1B03 at HUSUM Wind Energy 2010 will see the European debut of the new series of hydraulic and pneumatic torque wrenches from Tentec, a global supplier of bolt tightening equipment. On show for the first time to a European audience, this exciting and innovative new range of tool will be the highlight of the exhibition.
Three new torque wrench ranges have been introduced. The SD, CD and PN series have been developed for wind turbine manufacturers, installer and maintenance engineers worldwide who require robust, easy to use and accurate tools for the vast range of torque applications throughout the wind energy market. Comprehensive details and literature can be collected from the Booth at the show and personnel from Tentec will be giving interactive demonstrations on the stand throughout the week.
These new torque wrenches complement Tentec's existing Aero range of tensioning tools that is now in use on wind farms throughout the world. The latest innovation in this range is the incorporation of Tentec's unique, full load, positive stop safety feature on the entire Aero series. Tentec's in-house engineers have designed this unique full load, positive mechanical stop system so that just fractions of an inch over the required extension and engineers will hit a mechanical stop and stretching will cease. This important safety feature will be a highlight of the HUSUM Show in September.
Always the innovator, Tentec also supplies its equipment with an innovative and unique interchangeable spacer at the base of the tool. This gives the complete range of tensioners the flexibility to be used on many different applications. In contrast to many competitor systems on the market where the complete lower half of the tool needs to be replaced for particular applications or if wear and tear has caused damage, the Tentec system has been designed so that only a wearplate needs to be replaced. This not only makes the WTB range more versatile, but also lowers costs as the wearplate can be quickly and easily changed onsite and the cost makes it feasible for spare plates to be part of the engineer's toolkit.
New product brochures and full specification details will be available at HUSUM and Tentec engineers will be on hand to answer any technical questions or help with any specific applications.
