Humana Guidance Center in Tamarac, Florida Celebrates 2-year Anniversary Serving the Community on Friday, Jan. 28
In support of America's Moms for Soldiers, the public is encouraged to bring personal hygiene items, snacks and other much-needed items to the free celebration at the Humana Guidance Center in Tamarac, Florida which Celebrates 2-year Anniversary Serving the Community on Friday, Jan. 28.
- Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) January 25, 2011 - Humana, Florida's largest Medicare health benefits company with nearly half a million members statewide, will celebrate the 2nd anniversary of its Guidance Center in the Tamarac community by hosting a charity and celebrating a member's centurian+1 year birthday. The 3,500-square-foot Humana Guidance Center educates South Florida health care consumers and Humana members on individual health, life and dental insurance, has partnered with America's Moms for Soldiers to collect personal hygiene, snacks and other much-needed items, which are then sent to America's soldiers in the form of care packages. To top off the free community celebration, Humana has arranged a surprise birthday celebration for one of Humana's newest Medicare Advantage members who turns 101 years old in February.
What: The Fri., Jan. 28 event, free and open to the public, will feature music and entertainment with DJ Rapposelli, refreshments, raffles and more. In partnership and support of America's Moms for Soldiers, the public is encouraged to bring some of the following much-needed items to our soldiers: *Baby Wipes, Shaving Gel, Sunscreen/Aloe, Eye Drops, Gel Insoles, Cool Bands, Body Wash, Disposable Razors, Foot Powder, Battery-operated Fans, Q-tips, *Chapstick, Insect Repellant, Over the Counter Medication, Tylenol, Advil, *Beef Jerky, *Trail Mix,* Hard Candy, *Chex Mix, *Chips, *Granola/Cereal Bars, Cookies, Sunflower Seeds, Gum, and Nuts.
