Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 09, 2015 - Human Growth Foundation (HGF) today announced its 3rd Annual Walk for Kids Growth-LA community event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at Griffith Park, in Los Angeles. The event aims to increase the awareness of growth disorders and the critical importance of early diagnosis and treatment, together with helping raise funds for research, education, patient support and advocacy.

"This event will provide a great opportunity to engage the entire community and healthcare professionals and educate them on the importance of early diagnosis and treatment," says HGF executive director Patricia Costa. "Walk for Kids Growth-LA is an event for all ages and will feature family families activities."

Actor Mark Christopher Lawrence ("Chuck", "Glee") will serve as the master of ceremony. Walk for Kids Growth Participants will enjoy a 3-mile scenic fun walk, live entertainment, food, and a celebrity meet and greet. Participants will also have the opportunity to get giveaways.
