The Friends of Frying Pan Park celebrates all program and fundraising volunteers during National Volunteer Week. It renames its annual volunteer award to honor Gil McCutcheon, one of Fairfax County's exceptional civic volunteers. Baby Farm Animal Day and Bull Riding are two special events in April to help celebrate spring at the park.
Frying Pan Farm Park will hold its final 50th anniversary event of the year on Saturday, December 3rd. At this Depression era farm park there will be live music, dog and horse demonstrations, and chance to see the 200 animals that live on the farm.
