Hucklebarry Helen to take the stage at Berlin's Astra Kulturhaus for Emergenza
On Friday July 26, 2013 Hucklebarry Helen will hit the stage to compete in Emergenza.
- (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2013 - Emergenza is the world's largest rock festival set up for up and coming, unsigned bands. The festival has been making rock dreams come true since 1992. The festival is set up in knockout rounds. The first two rounds are decided by the audience. The final round is judged by a profession jury panel. The goal is to represent your country in the international finals. The international finals will be held in Germany on August 11, 2013 at the Taubertal Open Air Festival.
Hucklebarry Helen is a group of five musicians from Berlin who use their music to share their views with playful lightness, deep lyrics and major diversity. Their musical style ranges from quiet, melancholic passages to rocking riffs accompanied with piercing drums and more. As the instrumental music varies so does the ability of the bands amazing lead singer whose voice ranges from powerful to deeply soulful.
Hucklebarry Helen formed in 2009 consists of Kathrin on lead vocals, Vingvy on guitar and vocals, Yani on drums, Flo on guitar and vocals and Nic on bass.
Hucklebarry Helen will take to the stage for a 30 minute set of original music. They hope to represent Germany in the International finals. Bands talented enough to make the international finals will get to share the stage with some of rocks biggest names including Pink. The Editors and Iggy Pop. The winner of the international finals at the Taubertal Open Air festival is crowned "The Best Band In The World."
Hucklebarry Harry has the musical ability to win Emergenza. They are an up and coming band determined to take advantage of the great opportunity that Emergenza has laid out before them!
