- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) February 13, 2020 - The future of work is now and no one knows it more than human resources. The work has become more strategic and less transactional - a change driven by technology and an increase in Millennial and Generation Z employees whose desires for more than a paycheck has become a real game changer. Culture, employee experience and the adoption of the latest HR technology and strategies is the driving force behind the HR Exchange Network’s 2nd annual HR and Future of Work online event.
The free-to-attend online event is scheduled for March 24-25, 2020. Key themes include:
-- Creating a cohesive corporate culture that allows workers, both on-site and remote, to thrive while providing an award-winning employee experience
-- Embracing “new work” trends including flexibility, communication and strong work values.
-- Creating agile pools of talent through smart technologies and strategies.
-- Effectively predicting the skills the “employee of the future” will need for continued business success and workforce development for the next three, five and ten years.
-- Acquiring and implementing new digital strategies that strengthen and sustain the current workforce and the workforce of the future.
“HR professionals are leading the charge when it comes to embracing the future of work, but just like the workforce, it is always in flux. New technologies and strategies are created all the time,” HR Exchange Director Rose Morishita said. “We want to help HR professionals not only prepare for the changes, but to embrace them now and put them into practice so their respective companies have a competitive advantage.”
Morishita said this year’s speaking faculty is impressive featuring some all new faces such as The Granite Group’s Chief People Officer Tracie Sponenberg.
“I'm fascinated by the future of work, and I'm excited to participate in thinking about and learning what comes next in the world of work,” Sponenberg said. “I've seen HR evolve significantly in my twenty plus years as a working HR professional, and I am excited to share some of the things I have learned along the way!”
In addition to new speakers, the online event will feature some familiar faces including Atrium Senior Vice President of Workforce Engagement Sebastien Girard.
“I have a long history of partnership with the HR Exchange and I am part of the Advisory Board,” Girard said. “HR Exchange is forward thinking and is always focusing on the right topics… bringing a set of best-in-class speakers with very high quality audiences.”
