HR Anexi and BlessingWhite's Online Survey to measure Employee Engagement across the globe
India leg of global study to evaluate employee satisfaction and corresponding productivity begins from 12 August.
- (1888PressRelease) August 14, 2010 - HR Anexi - a pan-India Human Capital consulting and training firm - along with its global partner, BlessingWhite, is launching an Online Survey from 12 August 2010 to gauge Employee Engagement levels across the world. Besides measuring how satisfied employees in India are today, the survey (conducted exclusively by HR Anexi in India) aims to determine how productive people are for their organisation and the role of leaders in creating engagement among employees.
"Since a company is only as good as its employees, it's necessary to constantly monitor employee satisfaction levels within the organisation as well as their contribution towards achieving the company's goals," said Ashish Arora, Managing Director, HR Anexi, which had conducted a similar survey in 2008. "We're confident that employees across India will spare 10 minutes for this survey because it will eventually help improve their own working conditions."
As per the previous survey's results (downloaded by more than a million people), 34 percent of survey respondents were 'engaged' (i.e., extremely happy and productive in their jobs), and 29 percent were 'almost engaged'. About 13 percent were 'disengaged'. The forthcoming survey is likely to uncover a different result.
"The Indian market was booming during the 2008 survey, before the slowdown hit economies worldwide. The nation has now almost recovered from the effects of the slowdown. While employees might have a lower number of job options than in early 2008, the steadily-growing economy ensures more alternatives everyday, while simultaneously boosting competition in their respective industries. This will definitely lead to a change in personal as well as organisational objectives. The survey will help companies in India quantify that change. We can also create a customized survey for Indian corporates needing a more detailed insider understanding of engagement levels in their company. The report will be tailor-made for their organisations in order to comprehend and address this phenomenon," revealed Mr Arora.
With the survey closing on 15 September, the results will be available free of cost to all entities and individuals wishing to benefit from the findings.
