HP confirmed to sponsor Defence IQ's Network Centric Warfare Europe event
HP, sponsors of Network Centric Warfare Europe have confirmed the names of the represenatatives that they will be sending to lead the panel discussion at the conference.
- (1888PressRelease) May 31, 2011 - HP are to sponsor Network Centric Warfare Europe 2011 and have confirmed as panel leaders on day two of the conference: Al Kinney, Director, Defense Cyber Security Capability and Michael Donovan, Chief Technologist, Strategic Capabilities. They will be leading a discussion with other industry specialists on whether operational interoperability can be achieved with desired network security.

The Network Centric Warfare Europe 2011 conference (www.ncweurope.co.uk) speaker faculty consists of a larger number of operators and practitioners than in previous years. It is moving from the strategic level vision of NCW to reality of networked operations on the ground. The practicalities of operational issues affecting the practical development and deployment of networked enabled capabilities will be analysed both in terms of operational benefits identified and lessons learned in theatre, along with the effect today's military realities have on progress in the next five years towards the 2020 vision.
As questions emerge around how to maintain network resilience, quality of service and security in an interoperable command and control framework, innovative ideas are being discussed to ensure that this happens. Network Centric Warfare Europe 2011 will address the issues of security and resiliency within net-centric technology being used and being developed by armed forces across the world.
