The exclusive case studies will be focused on oil and gas financing in a challenging climate and risk management.
The 3rd annual Project Financing conference will take place in London, UK on 21-22 November and will aim to give a detailed update on project financing in the market. It will gather industry experts to rate oil and gas companies in a volatile climate, discuss LNG projects in the Nordic countries and project financing in the emerging markets, and much more.
Tom Tildsley, Chief Finance Officer at Maersk Oil North Sea UK will present his case study on financing a major gas project in a challenging climate. Tom will be discussing working with the government and minimising political risk, capital development methods used by Maersk Oil North, and overcoming the challenge of a constrained supply chain.
Ben Morgan, Chied Finance Officer at Genel Energy will be presenting on 'Risk management in challenging environments'. Presentation highlights include developing a world scale gas project, managing market communications, and much more.
Event programme will additionally host an interactive expert led panel discussion on 'how the economic cycle gives rise to new opportunities' led by Dong E&P, NIBC Bank, Macquarie Group, and Dentons.

The conference will feature an interactive post-conference workshop on 'An examination of project finance and RBL finance for oil and gas,' hosted by Tim Pipe, Partner and Alistair Black, Partner at Dentons. The workshop will provide a clear understanding of how lenders and other providers of finance look to structure loans to upstream oil and gas borrowers from development to production.
