To be eligible for membership on The Receivables Exchange, the company must meet the following criteria:
· A minimum of $2 million in annual sales
· At least 2 years operating history
· Registered to do business in the U.S.
· Must have B2B or B2G invoices
The Exchange functions as a flexible transaction-based market between buyers and sellers of company receivables. The exchange opens up the sale of receivables to competition from multiple institutional buyers. The buyers compete against each other on a real-time online exchange platform. Competition among buyers means that member companies obtain about 99-98 cents on the dollar for their receivables, on average.
