Houston Author, Patricia M Dixon, to Debut New Book "Praise Is What I Do: Psalms for the Modern Soul"
Author Patricia Dixon and Your Time Publishing to release her book of poetry.
- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) January 21, 2011 - Patricia Dixon and Your Time Publishing, LLC would like to share with you the release of "Praise is What I Do" is an expression of deep love and commitment to the God. Its words are an outpouring of praise and worship. Although these words cannot adequately express all of the author's inexpressible joy, it is an attempt to share her deep reverence, faith, and love for God. The poems in this volume cover everything from expressions of praise to poems about controversial issues.
Patricia Dixon a native of New Orleans, LA, was blown to Houston, TX on the winds of 2005's Hurricane Katrina. Since arriving in Houston, Ms. Dixon has become a lifetime member of Gulf Coast Poets and Poetry Works Workshops. Ms. Dixon recently completed her Master's Degree in Literature from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and is currently pursuing a Stegner Writing Fellowship to Stanford University. Her goal is to be an independent poet, author and college professor.
